Upon arrival at Maun Airport you will be met by a representative for your transfer to your lodge.
You will be transferred (light aircraft scheduled flight) to a beautiful lodge perched on the edge of the cliffs overlooking the magical Boteti River in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Spend the next two days enjoying the great activities on offer at the lodge including guided day and night game drives where you will be spoilt with wonderful sightings of the magnificent wildlife roaming this area. When you’re not exploring the wildlife, why not lounge around the pool or enjoy the panoramic views from the hide on the bank of the river? [Day 1: D][Day 2: BLD]
Now we head to the lush Okavango Delta. The next two days will be spent exploring the beauty of this fertile area. Your safari camp is set on the remote Nxaragha Island and offers a safari experience of note. Professional guides will lead you (on modern motorboat or traditional mokoro) through the meandering waterways in search of the magnificent wildlife in the area. You’ll also have the opportunity of participating in guided bush walks on the nearby islands. [BLD]
It’s time to explore Chobe National Park! The Chobe National Park is, by size, the third largest in the country and home to Africa’s largest concentration of elephants. Your lodge for the next two nights is the only permanent game lodge situated with the park and the perfect base from which to explore this magnificent wilderness area. You’ll be able to participate in morning and afternoon open vehicle game drives as well as morning and sunset cruises on the Chobe River. [BLD]
Your last day has arrived. After your morning game activity and breakfast, you will depart for Kasane Airport and your onward journey.
Overlooking the Boteti River on the western edge of the Makgadikgadi, Leroo La Tau is a spectacular lodge that offers clear wildlife views from private suites. Tastefully appointed in classical safari style, the thatched and glass fronted suites join luxury and wildlife seamlessly. When not exploring the region, guests can enjoy the lodge’s dining room, reading room and bar. Wooden decks and plunge pool complete the safari experience. Camp Okavango is set in the heart of the Okavango Delta on Nxaragha Island. The main lodge has a cocktail bar, sitting area and wildlife reference library, with the dining room leading onto an expansive patio where evenings around the fire can be enjoyed. Other facilities include a secluded bird-viewing hide and sundeck with plunge pool. Guests are accommodated in -style safari tents on raised teak platforms, with en suite facilities and private viewing decks.
